the PBS program, i believe that's brian greene's THE ELEGANT UNIVERSE.
a friend of mine, fellow physics major, actually bothered to spend money buying the three-set DVD of the elegant universe. one night she and i watched all three dvds and came to two conclusions. one is that string theory is definitely awesome. two is that brian greene is the most annoying physicist in the whole world. =P
i believe that most if not all of the physics majors in my class who have seen that program ends up hating brian greene. poor guy.
if you're interested in it, i suggest you read the book: the elegant universe by brian greene. the book is so much better than the pbs show.
